I was planning to build my own floats. I have most material I need at hand.

However, when I look at the cost of the material, I have to conclude commercial ready-on floats of fiber-glass are cheaper.

Should I be mad or happy ? :mad: :) :confused:

If you have most of the materials, how can prebuilt fibreglass floats be cheaper?

Well, its because I have needs for that material for other applications and I will have to buy more if I use it up. :p

You can make low-drachma homemade floats from discarded styrofoam packing material and 3mm plywood scraps. See the article inRandy Linderman's website:
