A bit of advice needed...

Just got a Slow Stick from Graysonhobbies.com and some GWS floats and I need a bit of advice about float placement. Where is a good place relative to the CG to put the step?

Thanks!

Put the step right on the C/G, Set floats (top) at zero degrees to the wing. Goode luck, Porter

Thanks indeed.

I agree with the step location, but everything I've ever read says to put the floats a couple of degrees negative relative to the wing (or the wing positive relative to the floats). On most hil type seaplanes you have to add some upthrust to the motor .

I set it 0x0 to the wing and it seemed to do just fine! Flew out 4 1500 lipo packs today with it. Worked just fine. Now who's got a camera for sale?

I have tried both 0x0 and 2 positive. 0 0 required a little up elev and 2 positive simply lifted off when flying speed was reached. Either way worked fine, whatever you prefer. Dave
