Hi,

Is it possible to convert a trainer to a seaplane?

Yes. Most any trainer works well as a seaplane. This has been discussed many times here in this forum, and if you >search< you will probably find photos of how someone converted your specific model. Model Fly make excellent floats in Italy (gallegianti) , and you should be able to get those in Malta.

Your challenge may be avoiding corrosion if you fly from salt water. Salt will destroy electronics if it gets on them.
