Phoenix Models Fun 3D on floats....

1 Attachment(s)
was a hit at our recent float fly. The model is powered with an O.S. .46 FX, Futaba gear and Maxford glass floats. Total flying weight is 7lbs on 800+ square inches of wing area.

If you are looking for an inexpensive and excellent flying combination, this one is it.

Also set up the GP Silhouette on GWS floats and it was a ball. Thanks to Fast Guy's thread it was a cinch to set up. Looked like a lazy insect dipping into and out of the water.

I have flown this plane on wheels many times and it is a honey ! Must be a blast on floats. Which engine did you use, and which floats ?

No longer have the plane but it was sweet on floats.
