You could always try to strap a little weight on the back with some zip ties or tape to make it ride a little lower also if you have any spacers in the shocks on the rear take those out and move them...

I would be weary of that the other guys have a point about the engine. They can be a pain in the ass, and they really need to be looked after quite well. But a new O.S. motor is only a couple hundred.

I would check the clutch on the engine output shaft as well. I went through a couple flywheels in the early days of owning my T Maxx.

Just build a Vxl Rusty from the ground up get a parts list from Traxxas. Then you don't have to worry about the old stuff. And Rusty's are very easy to build.

Those Trenchers might be too much weight if you have them on the front too. I would suggest a lipo. It will make a tremendous difference in power. and who doesn't want more power.

Be prepared to replace some stock plastic pieces. Especially on a Rustler but RPM makes great cheap replacements. and Rustlers are a lot of fun.
