the battery is fine (meaning it's completely sealed, otherwize the semi liquid lithium would leak out). use water proof connectors to your esc. and perhaps if money is no big deal get some nano tech...

I've seen external mixers placed between esc and motor but costly. This is a toy hull that I'm beefing up...

thanks mike, I'll have to check mine but my closest club REQUIRES AMA period. I think not only for the ins. but for the commeroderry. The feeling one would be an outcast if they didn't "belong".

No worries if it didn't short out. They are sealed very well its just the leads getting wet and shorting you would worry about. They are sensitive if the sensor lead receives power from the pos....

Its a dual ESC. 1 unit, 4 motor wires. 8 wires total. 2+motor, 2-motor, BEC, 2-Power.
I just thought the two separate motor wires could be controlled separately with mixing but apparently it acts...

What the heck? I would think when you advertise a dual motor (brushed in this case) ESC it would be able to control each motor individually. Doesn't seem to be the case with this one...

You can program that ESC/rec with a dongle if your so inclined. This would allow you to set center via the electronics which sounds like what you need. I would call horizon Great support usually
