I found out that they made a Tamiya ta02Truck witch this was mistakenly? Put on this kit. Hence the die grinder job on the rear. NEVER would I go to those lengths to mod a rc. But it should not...

Does your radio have sensitivity and trim controls? I would start there. Sounds like simple break in procedures.
Also some cars have u manually pull the servos into "center" position Before u start...

Shaft start that's called...... Go with a shaft system it is the best.... Tiger drive is a great brand I have one myself. universal bolt patterns and trap gears.

Using Loc-tite on a new RC extends life and fun.

Ever buy a "RTR" rc and soon found yourself tightening screws and re-adjusting brakes and throttles. A few hobby shops I've been to say to use Loc-tite on your new RC. I've noticed no conversation...

I also would get a bottle of after run oil, it dissolves all that gunk and extends the engine life! I use it, never had that issue b4.
