The timing was default as well as punch, I bought the program box and turned the punch to 50% and the timing down 2 degrees and added a fan to the esc....

Ya I'm racing real dirt oval running the stock spur and 21t pinion on 2s 70c 5000mah, it scoots. This will be the real tryout this weekend with the 5700 setup, just might need to dial it down a bit.

What are you going to be using it for? Race, bash, street? That motor will do nicely over that brushed motor the stock motor in the Flux is a 4000kv 4 pole and it is plenty for that little vehicle:)

That Tazer motor for the Losi, I would avoid. My 3300kv runs quite hot during a 5 minute race and we have tried everything under the sun to keep it cool besides adding a heat sink.
