if the pre load is loose and the rotary group turn enough free ,can be the problem . remenber what when you low the throtthe you down the fuel but no the air .so the rotary group continue turn it...

56",,,NIIICE! My next project will be a big one like that. There is a actuall turbine powered cat that races on the off shore curcuit. If I could get one big enough, maybe 2 turbines driving a shaft...

Yes it is the same as the gas 1/8 miss bud. I was looking for a 1/5 or 1/4 myself. I am not going to run it through a gearbox because of wieght. The extra wieght of the gearbox I think might be too...

Have you guys noticed how many hits and replies this thread has recieved? Seems like the turbine power is going to swarm the r/c boat world soon.

I am in the early stages of building a turbine powered hydroplane. 1/8 Miss Bud. I am going about it a little differently though. I intend to use the boat for fun, not really...
