Thanks for your reply Derrick. When you say "remove the paint back from the repair site" do you mean to sand the paint off the areas of overlap so that the fabric is showing? About 70% of the overlap...

Bax,
There is a number pad on the front of the carburetor but there is no number on it as you can see in the attached photos. I've taken out the slide, idle mixture screw, spring and the needle...
