RE: Depressed!

Hey Matt.
Yup, you're right about the Canadian prices. Like I said, I have to order from P.E.I. and it's a good thing I was visiting inlaws there when I picked up the kit.
The Confederation...

RE: Depressed!

Yeah, I realize what's involved but when I opened the kit with excitement, it just bummed me out to see all the extras. I had to travel to the next province to get to that store and had only so much...

Depressed!

I ordered a Sig Ninja 2 1/2 months ago and it only arrived at the hobby store yesterday. Meanwhile, I was in to that store to buy a replacement for it.

I picked up a Rascal for .049 or 400...

All I need to do is hook up the servo to the...

RE: House of Balsa 2x4

Hey thanks for the reassurance. I was actually thinking of doing that. I'm going to take a close look at the spars and such. If all is not too bad I may just keep going. I'll post the results.

RE: House of Balsa 2x4

Never mind!
The wood in the kit, being in the attic so long, has become so warped that after building the fuselage, it is obvious that the glider will fly nothing but circles, if that. In the...

It only took me one day to solo.

That is, I built my first kit by myself, launched it by myself, crapped my pants by myself, and pulled the pieces out of the ground by myself. I never said it...

Kits for .049 or .09

I have a black widow .049 and .09 engine with throttle that have been kicking around for years.
Does anyone know of any RC kits suitable for these, or perhaps even SPADS?

Thanks

RE: .049 on a Spirit

I had a black widow .049 on a glider just slightly smaller than the Spirit. It went like a bullet. Too fast to control. If the .049 doesn't get the Spirit up to altitude, with fuel to spare, then...
