30Lbs is more than enough.. Trust Me... I've talked to some that actually dialed their 30lb'ers down a few thousand RPM to keep them "legal". The plane is a blast but gets small very quick..

What is everyone running for throws and low/high rate settings on their Vipers? The manual just states travel adjusment numbers.

Good to know. I've moved mine in about 20mm... I got my CG right now but yes I'm concerned about burning the cone...I put a layer of heat foil on it... I'll see what it does on first start. I guess...

That will pull the end of my tail pipe inside the fiberglass tailcone 20mm. Worried that would burn it. Or maybe I should cut some off the tailcone?

Using the gear that came with the plane. The Behotec retact units and the newly designed struts we all had to grind and modify to get to work...;)
