I stripped one of my wheels too, but not as bad as yours. I already bought some different wheels/tires, so I'm about to put mine on Ebay individually. Just a heads up...

I had a very similar problem with mine. This is my first nitro truck so I'm no expert, but here's what I did. I gave it a little push from behind and then steadily applied the throttle....
