Yes, they are hollow, but at 19mm diameter with a 4mm wall I do believe that this could take my weight along with the plane ;)
Well I am not an engeneer, but I bet these tubes are up to the job....

I have just recieved my L39 and opened the box in a hurry to check the wing tubes.

I have noticed that the wing tube as been upgraded. This was my only concern. Thank you Jetlegend.

We use to instal en EMCOTEC or POWERBOX bord with two lipo's at our jets. This devices menage Rx power very well and maybe avoid the troubles you are getting. We have never had such an issue.

The fuel seems good. I've tested a P160 on a bench with this fuel and haven´t noticed anything wrong.
I am thinking in using it on a PHT3 as engine failure is not critical.
