Thank You ;-)
I've done that to several of the emails; and, it seems to work. A couple times I did it and I wound up at a big smiley face. I thought the smileys might have come from my own...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Wow!
Find me one of these for 360 amps at the same price and I'd be mighty tempted to buy and try one, unless the shipping turns out to be sky high. :D

Hey Greg,
Congratulations on the successful completion of your electric bi-plane.
I really enjoyed following along with the experiments and engineering that went into the build.
When you start...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Good Luck Saul,
It took me a while to figure out how to post the picks. I even gave up. Then I went back to my previous post and did an edit. Gave up again; but, some how the pics magically...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Hi Greg,
Or, for around $30 + shipping you could go with only a double servo arm and single servo arm and use the servo cutouts already provided in the plane. Also, you'll save a dab of weight. ...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Bummer Greg [:o]

I have a pair of 4300 mAh receiver/servo batteries that weigh a little over 1 lb total. I have them mounted as far forward on the outside of my motor box as possible.
Maybe...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Paul,
How about you building one of those canopy hatches in one of the familyroom walls? You can probably make some really big servo arms for latches! Of coarse that's only if Saul's hovering...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Hi Greg,
On my Python I have servo extensions that run from the receiver, with one running part of the way up each cabane and each held in place with it's own zip tie. These extension are never...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Hey Greg,
That arming switch and push-button look pretty cool where/how you've located them.
I like the added touch of the "Danger" sign.
It's all the details toward the end of a build that...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Hi Greg,
Thanks for repeating. I found many answers and more information in post 92. I should have looked back.
Based on your "good" rating for the CC connectors and what CC had to say on their...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Hi Greg,
This post has created some questions:
1) What gauge are your battery wires?
2) What size are the bullet connectors for the battery wires?
3) Did all three battery gauge wires fit...

There are soo many variables and I am unfamiliar with the Turnigy motor; however, here is a thread involving an airplane that may be similar to yours. I think there are two or three...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

What part did the 4 holes in the front of the cowl play?
I'm guessing Paul used them to be able to accurately mark the motor mount while the plane was standing in his stairway.

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Thanks for the video. That plane was really moving!

When selecting motors I always taken two things into consideration:
1) Power = Current x Voltage.
Power for a motor is a...

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane

Saul,
So then it can probably swing 34 x 12 at 15S.
Or, maybe a 32 x 12 at 15S
Or, maybe a 30 x 14 at 15S.

I'm getting it now Saul
We just can't exceed the power rating.
But,...
