When using the DA100, I used (3ea) 1/4 inch plywood spacers from the firewall to the engine. It will help with the balance and also look cleaner as you will have the cowl flush with the airframe...

What is the proper servo arm lenght for the elevators?
TO get +/-45 deg deflection.
I can only get about 30 deg with the 1 1/2" arms

The balsa sticks are for reinforcement on the tray between the servo tray and the battery bay.
I installed mine in the middle and used it as a tray for the power expanded.

Kit comes with tires (front) some extra trim for surfaces. All the bolts including engine mount bolts ( without nuts). Surface sealing trim, and robart hinges installed but need to be glued.

I am going to baffle the cowl with a balsa sheeting in the bottom half to separate the cylinders from the carb and depending on the way it comes out I might also place some sheeting on the top.
