I don't know how the current draw on these servos is vs a regular electric motor but typically the power is proportional to the voltage times the current, i.e. for a given power a higher supply...

The amount of weight is proportional to the distance from the CG. If you remove 2 oz from the tail at 40 inches from the CG you would have to remove 2*40/10=8 oz if the removal location was 10 inches...

Loose muffler on Saito 91

I have around 25 flights on a Midwest Citabria with Saito 91. I just used copper NeverSeze on the muffler connection and it has never come loose. Are you sure your propeller is well balanced?
