Well, I placed both the brake and gear channels up to 150/150. Ran the setup and I got the error message again. Oh well.

I went ahead and installed everything with the 3 wire setup and it works...

David... it sure does. The brushless motor is a different kind of animal on the inside. The elctronics side of the internal workings requires a new ESC... and yes they do cost more. Wouldn't you...
