RE: AE RC8

Personally I think it "looks " good , but that doesn`t really mean anything , all that really matters is how it gets around the track and if it will be reliable . And I don`t think different always...

RE: Xray guys around?

Try the 3000 in the center diff, I think you will be happy with it. It really setttled the car down for me when on power . lately I`ve been running 5-3-5 or 3-3-5 depending on the track surface . If...

RE: What Car would you buy? X-Ray,Hyper 8 Pro,Mugen mbx-5, Kyosho mp777, jammin x1cr

I would say Xray but I`m biased as I just picked up XB8 #2 to convert to truggy. The xray has been the most trouble free and durable rc I`ve ever owned.

But I would have to agree with most...

RE: Hyper8 or Matrix?

Whatever buggy you get, make sure it has good parts support. I personally cannot recomend the Matrix, I do own one , and when it is working it does drive well but it breaks about every second tank. I...

RE: CEN Matrix 1/8th scale buggy

If anyone needs a Cen .26 for their Matrix I have a brand new one I pulled from mine 15 min after it came out of the box. Just make an offer, not looking to make a fourtune, just what it`s worth.

RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

Not being a smart a**, but did you try puting the rear arm on the front? The package will have one front and one rear arm in it, the rear arm is a good bit longer than the front. Just something to...

RE: v-spec head shimming

I don`t know what the ideal shim is but I did add the extra shim even before breakin and also went to a P7 glow plug since I`m running 30% also. Not a hint of detonation. I have almost a gallon...

RE: New Shocks for MP7,5

Why not just rebuild your current ones ? Would probably be cheaper.

RE: CEN Matrix 1/8th scale buggy

Yeah the Alum parts will definately do the job and look good doing it, but at the expense of $$ and weight. Sometimes the same part in plastic will get the job done just as well as the Alum would,...

RE: CEN Matrix 1/8th scale buggy

Is it just me or does it seem Cen had two different designs for a buggy and just combined the two for the Matrix ? Finally took the buggy completely apart and there are alot of things I like, but...

RE: Knuckels That Fit Matrix ??

The reson for my breakage was that the kingpin screws had no lock tight on them (the only thing on the buggy that wasn`t threadlocked from the factory, my fault for not checking them) and the upper...

RE: OS .21 V-Spec, How are they holding up?

I thought there were just the VZB and then the VZB V-spec-T, so one version of the V-spec, granted you have different batches of each manufactured. I also read in one of the mags that O.S. was...

RE: Knuckels That Fit Matrix ??

Thanks for the input. I was just over a A-Mains site and thinking that the Kyosho MP777 looked like they will work, and at $8 a pair I might just have to try them.
As for other thing that need...

RE: Knuckels That Fit Matrix ??

THanks guys. I`ll try to get a pic tomarrow.
the Cen knuckles look good, but at $70, I don`t know if I wana pay that much for them. Lots of other areas of the buggy that $70 would be better spent.

RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

I chose the .21 mainly because of fuel mileage, .28s are thirsty pigs, and i think most higher end .21s make enough power for a truggy.

RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

I bought the truck as a preowned roller and the previous owner did this wing mount , and it`s a pretty sturdy set up. I plan to get the HPI mount when it becomes available.
