RE: My hats off to 3-D Hobbies!

This is a great airplane. You will love it. It could do any maneuver the bigger airplanes do, almost as well. It is very visible in the air thanks to its color scheme. I use it to practice F3A...

RE: Aspera vs. Vanquish

I am very happy with my Aspera. It has a Kontronic Cora with a 13x6.5E on 3S and it has plenty of power. I use a 2100 and a 3300 batterie with good results. The plane is 39oz with the 2100. I had a...

RE: Experience W. Click! ?

It's ready to fly. 172g/6.05oz with a 3S400. At this weight, a 2S should be enough. It went very well to assemble it. It's not my first foamie so that may have help the process.
See some pictures...

Congratulations to Devin, Ivan, Matteo and Pat. It was a lot of fun to meet the other pilots and very impressive to see the two young guys fly. The video doesn't give them justice. It was even better...

RE: Shockflyer hinges

If you have trouble getting one piece of tape on the all lenght of the aileron, use 4 or 5 short pieces inline top and bottom. It's enough for the small planes like this. That's what I did on all my...

RE: AXI 2204/54 for 3D ?

I have been using the 2204/54 on a Quasar (and other planes) since January. I had more than 130 flights indoor before going out in the spring using the APC 9x3.8. I run 2S450 and 3S450 for indoor and...

RE: A first patern plane to scratch-build?

You didn't mention your pilot experience and size of airplane so here is what I know:
There was a nice 2m pattern plane in the May 2003 RCM called L'essence. It is mostly wood even for the wings I...

This is great. Exactly what I needed.
From what I have seen for now, the sim is so good that it also recreates the same mistakes I do with my real pattern planes :-)
