My muffler was fine the other day, and I did check my tail boom mounting as well, as I originaly thought it might be the belt slipping or something so I tightened it all up.

As for holding my finger on any part of the engine, I assume after a minute or two of hovering ?? , I think I would struggle, I can literally feel...

nope I haven't any decals anywhere, and I didn't feel the need to balance my blades , they seemed pretty good as I balanced them on a bolt.....

I just hovered before without the canopy, and the noise was definitely present.

as to my engine being tuned, well she picks up alright, and if shes too lean you loose power after a brief period...

I did a search and a couple of posts almost touched on this, but can I remove the gas solenoid when my P80 has started up?

ok I'll have a look, but this heli is brand new and has only had about 8 tanks over the last week or so.

I can't see any significant wearing on either of the pinions.

I think your getting your displacements mixed up here, lighter than air airship do occupy a large volume of air and they themselves weigh less than this displaced air. Hence the term bouancy and...
