I had the exact same problem with the same engine, not a broken washer on mine, the prop shaft was too far inset, a strong pull propward sorted the issue,....for now....

I have a ST 75 in the Hangar 9 corsair ARF, pitts muffler 45 degree mounting, works awsome, runs forever, bulletproof, even after several pilot error pile ins, it still has never dead sticked on me.

I have a ST G2300 in my Sig Cap 231 EX, with bisson pitts, I was having n RPM issue, until I switched to a wooden 18x6 prop, all is now well, I found the heavier glass filled nylon props a bit heavy...

I was hoping that it was a low speed idle setting, i still do, but my g-51 is doing the same as both of yours, does this mean a bum product line?
I ran it with the exhaust disconnected, and got...

Hello from ON, I just built a Seagull Seafury ARF, it built easy, havent flown it yet, will wait and see, also just built a hangar 9 t-34 Mentor, the most difficult and confusing ARF I have built...

Black horse .40 size Cub, bad karma,really flimsy landing gear, squirrely,
Pheonix SU-31 , 1.20 size, wierd fish glue, bizzare woods... wings ok, landing gear a definite weak spot, fake carbon...
