Sadly Nevin passed away on January 8th 2021.

Wow! I paid to much for mine. I got it at a swap meet in Denton Texas. Paid $45 for it.:D

Yes it does look like the Wasp 049 also. My first glow engine was a Cox 049. It was in a plastic ready to fly P-40.

I have a 4.2 c.i. engine with a Mahle cylinder and need a replacement.

I heard you have a severe leg injury.
It is good that it is not so bad that you can't go flying
and make a trip to the hobby store for fuel line.

You must have been using hardened tubing. Heating it annealed (softened) it.

I just received a photo of the plans showing the CG, range is 5 1/2" - 6" from LE of top wing.

Ihave been resurrecting an old Big John for the past couple of weeks. Had no idea what
I was working on just know I liked it. It is now ready to fly except for balancing.

Early Zenoah G-23 crankshaft end play tolerances

I have an early G-23 (Kalt G-22) that has a noticeable amount of crank shaft end play.
I have not measured it but I can visibly see the flywheel move front to back as I push & pull
on the prop...
