RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Tough question as both handle very well. The Revo is insanely lighter than the LST, and sit's quite a bit lower to the ground. The LST on the other hand sits higher, and doesn't roll in the corners...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Well, I own an LST as well as a REVO and the LST is Awesome..... but I have to say the REVO is awesome as well. The thing is, they are two totally different trucks. So comparing them to each other is...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Good one Stebog...... Fourwheeler, put her initials on the side of the truck, that will show her how much you love her...... or better yet, offer her the position of decaling your body. Ummmm ...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Right on..... I don't have it tooooo tough with my wife other than the fact she doesn't see the need to own more than one truck. But, it keeps me out of trouble, and it's money I make on the side to...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

I would just tell her that you had to place your order well in advance because of the back order issue. Just say that there was no guarentee of how quick it would get there, but that if you didn't...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Definitely a must...... My LST runs right around 215 max. Perrrrrfect. I have yet to see a Monster Truck yet that doesn't require this.

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

That is if she doesn't kill you before you are done breaking it in. My wife Just counted the # of trucks on my RC bench and was like "1, 2, 3, .... uhhh 4? Who's is this one?"
"Mine", I said....

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

I just had to come on and say that I love this LST...... I can't beleive how well it handles. I don't think I have rolled the thing yet! It's amazing how you can take it into a car at such high...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Right on.... That is really not the best spot to hold batteries, certainly not convinent! All the more reason to purchase a couple flat packs. Good to see that you got it figured out, and that it was...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

LSTing, check that the high speed needle and the low speed needle are what they are suppose to be at from the factory. I believe that the HS is 3.5 turns, and the LS is 2 turns out. I always check...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Understood, but I was reffering to a fail safe actually working correctly. Obviously if the battery came disconnected it would not work, just like driving it off a cliff... the fail safe wouldn't do...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Or simply buy a Fail Safe...... problem solved either way. Works great, and adds nice peace of mind. THe venom fail safe fits neatly into the receiver case. Like it was meant to go there!

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

THanks! I have already cut out a large hole directly in the center of the windshield, and am working on getting the tuning nailed down. Hopefully I will be able to dial it in tonight. BTW I am guess...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

I hear ya, but I would not run the fan off the receiver battery, it would run on it's own power supply. Also it also really doesn't have enough power to over cool the engine, it would most likely...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Richard, why you are online, can you answer a few questions.

1) what is the max temp you can run at before aquiring damage from heat? (I know the manual says 200-230 I think, but is that max or...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

What do you mean by "not running the throttle return spring"? I guess I don't know what benefits you would gain. Do tell............ BTW thanks for the reply.

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

Tripple, did you stiffen your suspension at all...? I raised mine to the inner hole on the A-arms, but still think it needs stiffer springs, and/or heavier shock oil. The truck does not spring back...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

I bought a venom 1100 and it fits perfect under the car, but you have to modify the plug on it so it will plug into the receiver. Basically you take a pair of sharp wire cutters and clip of the...

RE: I've got it! The LST is mine!

BTW what's the deal with opening under the truck where you can see through to the 4AA basttery box? It looks like there should be some sort of screw on cover. Also, has anyone found the need to...
