LiPo question - can I use 2 instead of 1?

Hi All,
I am trying to covert a 70" wingspan Edge to electric. I planned on using an E-flight Power 90 outrunner motor with a Castle Creations Phoenix Ice 100 ESC.
I already have 2 LiPo packs -...

RE: SV26 Gas Engine Issues

I don't know guys - It seems like we peaked it out already - but, its worth a try.
Why would it run great inverted and in a knife edge but pop while flying level if it is too rich on the high end?...

SV26 Gas Engine Issues

OK - so I re-tuned the 26cc Gasser (SV) and it no longer dies when the throttle is cut back to idle at the top of a hammerhead.
But, it now pops and sputters - but only when flying upright and...

RE: SV Gas 26cc Engine issue

Thanks - I'll try setting the high needle a little richer, but, the idle is already too high - spec is ~2,000 to 2,500 rpm and I think I'm set at ~ 3,200.

SV Gas 26cc Engine issue

Guys - My SV (SPE) 26cc Gas engine seems to idle fine, run great, but, everytime I take it up into a hammer head and pull back the throttle to idle, it goes dead stick. Idles great on the ground and...

RE: elevator programing

Unfortunately, this does not work.
There is no way in the 6EX to set the % on a master and slave seperately.
You can set the mix to +100%, but this only allows the 2 servos to work together in...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I have an older Saito 72 that runs great, but, while tuning it on the ground, the needle value seems to have little to no effect. I've set the valves many times, but still no changes.
Any ideas?

RE: Speed 550 Motor for a glider

Guys - it doesn't make financial sense to go brushless - the motor, esc and lipos would cost almost 2X the cost of buying a new plane just for the included motor.

RE: Speed 550 Motor for a glider

550 is a big motor - coverting to brushless would throw the weight off and cause a big shift in CG that would only be fixable by adding large amounts of weight to the backend.
Not the best option.

RE: Northeast Aerodynamics Giles MX2

Thanks for the Info - One more quick question. If it was tail heavy, was he able to hover it with ease using the DA50, and, pull straight up and out of the hover?

indoor heli goes in circles

Hi,
I have a Lama 6 indoor electric heli. It flies great, but, even in a stable hover it continously rotates in a circle. Is there a way to adjust or correct for this issue?
