RE: Blade CP to Electric flight. Possible or not?

When I had a transmitter die, I tried to substitute a Blade type one, it ended in a totally uncontrollable airplane due to the control mixing circuit in the transmitter-- don't know if using just the...

RE: Cant decide on engine for mini telemaster, maybe some mylamo help and others!

I don't think you'll need that big an engine for the mini--unless you like to rip the wings off it! An .061 is plenty of power for this floater bird!

RE: Problems with sig kadet EP motor (smoking)

You've probably smoked the motor--my suggestion would be to switch to a good brushless and enjoy the much increased performance!!

RE: Diesel WONT stay STARTED

Your last comment says it all---you'll get tired of all the fussing with the diesel, or you'll get tired of the brown gooey mess from the exhaust!! The exhaust smell is kinda neat , however!

RE: Diesel WONT stay STARTED

WOW!!! Never try cranking a diesel at max compression--usually one turn out from max is about the right starting point. Also, the needle valve settings for running the engine on glow is a good...

RE: What is needed to make a Electrifly PT-Electric take off on it's own ?

You'll need a lot more power than the stock motor--I would suggest a severe "diet" to reduce the overall weight as well. I used to fly one usiong a Mega Mini 6 and hefty NiCd batteries years ago,...
