RE: Starting ?

RE: Some things to go a little faster?

my tower .75 liked:
APC 12-6 , 11-7 , 11-8, 11-6 , 14-4 , 10-10

I'd try a 11-7 next
you might give a 12-6 a try, get the engine into the muffler's band a bit better.

RE: what u think about my new 6 blade prop ( got a 5 blade ready to test)

you may want to try the APC wide bladed 3D props if thrust is what you are after. or perhaps hack up some of the MAS props, they have wide blades as well.

RE: German Speed Event 2010

incredible engineering and creativity..

I like the look of the model with a longer output shaft on the engine to put the cylinder further back, it had a more rounded shape... how did it perform?

RE: My first real speed plane

nose heavy flys poorly, tail heavy flys once.
OK tail heavy can be flown many times (ask the Bro's ;) but on a speed plane, tail heavy usually increases the pucker factor on a flight.

RE: Thunder Tiger Pro .36

it is a decent engine, expect ~15,300 on an apc 9-6 with stock exhaust, 18,000 with a pipe.. i'll have to look at one when I get home to answer the needle valve question.

RE: Weston Magnum/Nelson Q40 w/ video...195-ish!!!
