At the exhaust end, the inner pipe is 2-5/8" diameter....the outer pipe is 3" dia. Sorry I can't get any other measurements.....

It is quite acceptable to spray smoke fluid 1 to 2" behind the turbine exhaust....but make sure you have a decent nozzle (ie Tams) and have a shut off valve on the smoke line so smoke fluid can not...

Simply bend the pushrods slightly where they exit the servo arm, so they are parallel with the plane of rotation of the servo. The slight bend required has no effect on the strength of the push rod....

the LA is a budget line of engines...main cutbacks are the use of bushings on the crankcase and an air-bleed carb. those two items will prevent the LA from reaching the same power levels as the AX...

possibly a goldberg anniversary cub, although there are a few clones out there in that size range. A 2 stroke 40 would be plenty. If you need to go faster, you got the wrong airplane...;)
