Here is a video of my 100 % stock brushed Hobby Lobby Alfa P-51. Takes off with barely a toss. I've never flown the Megatech one, but I have only heard stories of disasters.

I was in the process of making a video montage and wanted to get some film of a couple of landings. I had it on the trunk of my car. I guess you could say it was good luck for a bad luck event [:o]

Was pulling out of a loop (3 mistakes high mind you) and the plane just went straight in. Still trying to figure out why. I'm thinking the elevator control wire came loose...

Great service here too. I had a plane damaged by the shippers (there were footprints on the box...no joke. Looked like a size 12 !!), and I gave Hobby Lobby a call and they shipped the next day....

I've only flown both style P-51's from Hobby Lobby, and both times I went with the 300 motor and everything else they had on their page.


I would recommend the yellow tailed P-51 though,...

I wasn't sure if the accelerator was a necessary component. I was thinking that maybe if I didn't use accelerant, it would be like just using one tube of the epoxy set.
