Hey folks, Im over here in Afghanistan now. My wife just sent me the latest copy of the AMA magazine. AWESOME article in there about the SRT! Bo Lovell did a great job writing it!

No, nothing has failed in flight. So far everything has been performing flawlessly with the exception of the pilot and the landing gear.

Yeah, its just the thrust angle on the motors pushing the nose down. Tomorrow I'll adjust them and go out for another flight thurs. or friday.

And here is how it is done...

R motor is on ch.6, L motor on ch.3. FLP/T is at 0% to dis-able the VR-1 knob. ch.3 (master)is mixed Ch.6 (slave). Then, ch.4 (master) is mixed to ch. 3 (slave)....

Yeah, programming wasnt too bad. I can post how its done on my Hitec Eclipse 7 if you want. Others radios may be different.

lol, nah, I think the third time is the charm. I have upgraded the landing gear now. Its stronger, and the nose AOA is slightly higher. It also has 6" air inflatable wheels and they all spin VERY...

Sounds like that was a great project man! I build race cars, muscle cars and street rods most of the time. Planes are kinda my 2nd or 3rd hobby. I'd love to see some pics of your Ranger project...

Thanks guys. I think we are going to add "differential thrust" to the motors to help with the ground steering/taxiing. That SHOULD solve our problem.

I got the landing gear installed, the bottom of the plane covered, and the batteries recharged. Now Im going to switch out the 18" props for the 20" props and start double...
