RE: Micro vs. Mid-Size

Although don't tell me it's harder to fly! I'm already nervous enough about learning to fly it as it is. Everyone I run into keeps giving me these looks whenever I tell them I'm getting...

RE: Micro vs. Mid-Size

Well, I bought the used LMH220-Corona with lots of extras from the Marketplace section over on RCGroups, I should hopefully have it in a few days / week. I picked up a Futaba T6XA (transmitter only)...

RE: Corona Umbilical for Training

Humm... all good points. Well, maybe I won't run right out and build that, then. Thanks for the info.

What number of cells and what capacity would you recommend? I've been reading up on them...

RE: Futaba 6YG 6-Channel FM

Thanks for the input.

Managed to answer my own question about the model numbers. "6XAS" is the name of one possible package, which contains the T6XA transmitter, plus a receiver and servos, etc....

RE: Micro vs. Mid-Size

Thanks very much for the info. The Coronas do look really sweet, I think they're maybe just the right combination I'm looking for. I've seen some around on different forums going for anywhere between...

RE: How much is a Futaba 6XAS Worth?

I think it does come with the RX ... but based on my quick check on eBay, I'm going to wait on the one for $190 and see if I can't pick one up a bit cheaper, there are a few ending in the next 24...

Micro vs. Mid-Size

I'm just about ready to buy a heli, and I can't decide whether to go with a Light Machines micro, or to a mid-size (basic .30 size). I've been going through the math and I think they're going to work...

How much is a Futaba 6XAS Worth?

Just wondering if any of you more experienced folks can tell me whether I'm about to get a good deal, or get ripped off.

A guy offered to sell me a basically new-in-box Futaba 6XAS radio w/ 4...

RE: Futaba 6YG 6-Channel FM

Question: is the 6XAS the same as the T6XA?

On Tower's web site they don't have any listing for the T6XA ... but if you go to the page for the 6XAS (discontinued) they show a photo in which you...

RE: traxxas stampede? good for a begginer

I've been told by the guy at my local hobby shop that you can still get the Nitro Stampede from some distributors, but that it won't be very long before you'll only be able to find used ones. But...

RE: The traxxass nitro stampede thread!

Very cool. If you or anyone else knows where you can get either those shocks or the metal spur gear, that'd be much appreciated.

I'm going to take some photos of mine once I get the roll cage on...

RE: nitro stampede....chassis question

I'm looking for the same thing for my 'pede, but can't seem to find anything. In the meantime, I'm making a makeshift roll cage out of 1/4" brass tubing (heat it with a torch and you can bend it...

RE: The traxxass nitro stampede thread!

I have a Nitro Stampede that I got some years back, but I had too much on my plate at the time so I never got to play with it much. So I lubed the engine up really well ('pickled' it) and put it...
