Futaba 9C Chrome panel

Can anyone advise me please, the chrome panel on my 9C is badly worn & I would like to change it, I can see all the screws etc needed to release it but I cant see what happens to the LCD screen & how...

Not much on the web about these, I have used the FRSKY V8 modules,Hacks, 8ch Rx's, 4ch Rx's without any problems for nearly 2 years in Futaba 9c, JR 388s, Futaba 6x

Thanks for the reply, are you mode 1 or 2, for as long as I can remember Futaba have had the trainer switches on the left, if mode 1, do you think its ok

Thanks for that, I wanted the Funtana x & did find it on that site but I find it hard to estimate the length without motor & rudder.
