We had guys run t spec at our track but they didnt last long because of the weight and the breakage, but replacement parts are very cheep. Best bet is buy a used tc3 or tc4 more dependable and easy...

I run my RC18T onroad so my next upgrade is going to be hex hubs so i can run my 1/10 scale tires...:)

It should have a little play, you can run a piece of paper between the spur and pinion and tighten the motor when it is snug to the paper then pull the paper out and you should have just a little...

If you just want speed and to turn heads, brushless and 3cell lipo will put it close to 50mph

Some times its better to stay with the stock parts, upgrading can sometimes lead to breaking more expensive parts, and in some cases graphite will snap...
