That's why i recommended the mentioned products, using these you can get the decals to conform with the surface detail. Then you clearcoat AFTER decal application.

I've had good results using MicroSol and MicroSet when applying waterslides, especially useful if the decals will sit over rivets or panel lines.

Yes, the retract swings more than 90 degrees, I'd say close to 110 degrees. The wheel comes very close to rubbing the front of the intake when retracted. I played with the angle of the trailing link...
