I'm also using the Saito 72, but with a 13-6 on my Kat 40. My son uses the 13-4W on his Kat. You must be good with a Dremel tool. I thought that red spinner's cut -out would be too...

Your Pitts dead-stick plop was probably a good real world test of the gears strength. I will order a Pitts ( and probably some others) soon. Hope they go together as easily...

I also fly the Katana on a grass field and the aluminum gear twists and bends easily; not from any hard landings but simply from the longitudinal impact forces on those very small...
