I replaced the stopper in my rafale and have also got replacements for my F16. I also had a friends make me some ali collars which I glued in the tanks with hysol after opening out the holes a bit...

Lozza I have the F16 still in the box and I had the same reservations with the fuel tanks but with a little tug they do come out no problem.

I had one broken when my Rafale was delivered so I made a little ali bracket to strenthen it. Worked fine even survived the flip over.

I went for 1"1/2 travel which is a bit longer than installed but i managed to fit them ok. I replaced all my door rams on my F16 and Rafale.

The air is most likely leaking around one of your pistons and then through the vent. I had this problem untill I replaced my door rams

The factory is sending the new rafale fuz and fin to me this week so should be in the air in a few more. When i have got it back together I'll check back with you on your final setup to see...

John, I pushed mine quite tight against the oring added with that the spring wires suggested in RCJI mine seemed nice and stiff.

Joe, I will give it a try. My raf is ready to maiden, I am just a bit concerned about the loss of air from the gear door rams. Last thing I want is a belly landing.

Thanks John I have two pieces of fibreglass ducting top and bottom. I have had a nightmare with the FEJ valves today leaking air, just put an order in for a J-valve hopefully it solve my problems.

With regards to the Rafale guys. Are you using the fibreglass ducts around the turbine to jet pipe entrance im a bit worried about heat in this area.

I have found the same problem. I filled my pistons with teflon oil on both sides then left them for a while. I then pushed them back and forth to pump the oil out. They now seem ok. I will leave them...

My Rafale is nearly here TBM posted mine on monday and emailed me my tracking number. Its stuck at Heathrow airport at the moment, probably some government offical working out how much to rip me off...
