Can I suggest you get a failsafe, this goes inbetween your throttle servo and reciver and when there is a low battery or inteference it detects it and puts the breaks on. It will stop any more run...

I think the Team Losi yellow springs are 7.2lbs. I have some, they made quite a difference to jumps, it stopped bottoming out.

You may want to get some spare tierods if your going to jumping it and some shock shafts as these tend to break on impact quite easily.
