RE: Brillelli 46cc

I'm pretty sure I have a walbro carb on my 46. The plane is out in the trailer in another location. The only problem I have is from day one, is it floods very easy. Scott told me to dry off the plug...

RE: AW 50cc Yak 55M

I like the Red YAK 55 as well. In my opinion it has the best color scheme I have seen for a YAK 55. I hope it turns out to be lighter than the other 50CC Aeroworks planes.

RE: AW 50cc Yak 55M

No, just one on display at the booth. Same top quality look and feel. Their target date back then was September, was hoping to have a fall build project. But it never happened. So I called and they...

RE: AW 50cc Yak 55M

I signed up for the pre-order at Joe Nall, I hope I'm still on the list.

RE: DX7 DSMX add on

At Joe Nall they were doing upgrades, and I was able to watch the Horizon Hobbies tech do the actual upgrade on my DX7. He also showed me the spectrum analyzer that showed the frequencies above 75%...

RE: High fade count on 7010 receiver satellites

Andy,

I've been in data processing for close to 30 years now and I can say definitively it's great to be able to talk directly to the developer.

Thanks for your support.

RE: Introducing The New 50cc Edge 540 ARF-QB!

I went back to double check the pack sizes, and the servo battery is the 3200, not the 2100. They are Hobbico through the LHS, available through Tower Hobbies. Hobbico LiFeSource LiFe 6.6V 3200mAh...

RE: Introducing The New 50cc Edge 540 ARF-QB!

I'm using DLE55 with Pitts muffler. Servos are Spektrum 6030s, with a Smart Fly power distribution so I can run 2 Life batteries one 2100 for servos, and one 1800 for radio and the throttle servo....

RE: Futaba 7c 2.4 or Spektrum DX7

I think you answered your own question.

I have 5 Futaba transmitters, they stay in the box except for when I fly a few planes that I have not converted to Spektrum. I fly a sailplane on Futaba,...

RE: Savox Servos

I think Savox Servos are what's under the cover in the Spektrum A6030. I have them in my 50cc Edge 540 with no regrets.

RE: Edge 540 with a da60 what prop should I use for sport flying

I actually changed my standard setup up on the EDGE 540. I use to use Hitec MG but in this plane I have Spectrum 6030s all the way around, 42% OPTO Kill switch, with a Smart FLY power distribution...

RE: Edge 540 with a da60 what prop should I use for sport flying

I recommend the EDGE 540. I have the 50cc and the 30cc versions, both fly like they are on rails, very predictable at slow speeds as well. Balance as indicated in the instructions and they are easy...

RE: Introducing The New 50cc Edge 540 ARF-QB!

I have flown my 50 cc edge 540 QB only a dozen or so times, but it flys like it's on rails. I have the 30cc on the build bench and just mounted the cowling. I'm getting close. I can't wait to see if...

RE: NEW DLE30!

Please share your fuel/oil set up, mix ratio and type that you used over the life of the engine. For example 40:1 reg, or 50:1 synthetic , 70:1 synthetic. I'd love to know.

RE: DLE30 rear induction conversion!

Quick question, how much clearance is needed behind the engine, beyond the standoffs? And how much space would be needed beyond the breather? Just curious to what it would do to my set up.

RE: NEW DLE30!

Yes they are, It's amazing how it wanted to pull the bricks and stand across the floor. I just kept piling bricks up. I never seen that 2X4 lean forward so much. Now to move it to the air frame....

RE: NEW DLE30!

If modelers hate tuning, I highly recommend the electric scene for them. There are several large scale aircraft at our club that run electric motors. They get the same consistent performance time...
