RE: AquaCraft U-18 Miss Vegas Hydro Thread_Make it Fast!

Have anyone tried Miss Vegas with hot .21 engine. Could the boat handle .21? Any info on engine, set up changes would be great.

RE: Aluminum pullstart spool Novarossi

Well, if you do not run Novarossi or RB you might not have this problem. It is a shame that some of the best and most expensive engines come with the worst pullstart.
Since there is no interest in...

RE: Aluminum pullstart spool Novarossi

I make prototype and than it goes to CNC shop. I can make anything but after seeing very little interest in aluminum spool I don't think I'll be running to get 50 or 100 pieces made of anything.

Aluminum pullstart spool Novarossi

After getting tired of replacing Novarossi pullstarts because of warped or broken spool I have made some aluminum spools.
They are direct replacement for plastic Novarossi spool.
$12 shipped in...

RE: Port and polish? or not?

4.9hp , not even close. Over the last 10 years I've modified close to 500 Novarossi .21 for boat racing guys, my best engines were around 2.95 hp on a high quality dyno. These engines set and hold...

RE: This is what 100MPH car looks like

What does 7 shims translate to in .0?? of inch and has the head been modified. As you add more shims compression goes down, anyway, this is how many of engines I modifed have been run.
Head...

RE: This is what 100MPH car looks like

Great stuff, 103 MPH is a lot of speed, very impressive. Just wonder how much nitro did you run. If you are willing to sacrifice the engine perhaps you might have a chance to go even faster with some...

RE: After-Run Oil??

I've ran as high as 75% nitro in my engines and even when I used O'Donnell fuel engine would rust if left overnight, however with 30% fuel engine if run dry can be left without extra oil. Nitro is...

RE: tie rods ends

The problem with tie rods is that they've streched and the ball is loose inside, have anyone tried aluminum tie rod ends?
I run 9886 pipe on moded RB .28, good speed , good torque but I feel...

tie rods ends

Anyone knows better tie rods ends that will fit Savage. Mine are loose and steering is sloppy after less than two gallons.
What is the best pipe for .28?

RE: savage top speed?

Oh yes, they all run fast until I put them on my Stalker and than come excuses for lack of speed. Moded RB .28 and 18/49 gearing runs 40-42 MPH but not even close to 50 MPH

RE: Nova Rossi 528 xsp in a savage

Tiger drive will not work in a Savage. Only way to start engine with Roto start in Savage is from the back. Tiger drive can face either side or up but not back. Also I have RB 728 which has the same...

RE: Best buggy Engine

There is nothing more misleading than numbers different manufacturers give. Myself being very experienced tuner with many record setting engines I don't even think about numbers. Of course no engine...

RE: fuel percentages

I always find it interesting when people insist that fuel must have 16%, 18% or even 20%oil content. I'm new to cars but have been running Novarossi engines for many years (never stock) and for the...

Hi, does anyone have any experience with RB .28 (728TM). I've just got new one, haven't run it yet but after having a good look inside I'm really disapointed, even cheap engines have more work done...

I'm also very courious what Andy does to the engines. I know Andy from running boats and I know his records but I can alsoknow that my engines hold just about every record in .21 class and few...
