Yes the clutch will most likely require weekly maintenence if your going to race seriously.You will need to check bearings, clean the bell, file the shoes if needed, and probably replace springs...

Bearings will wear out very fast in a 1/8th scale clutch. I personally run avids most of the time, and replace them every few races. It is cheap insurance, and you don't have to worry about them...

It depends for a club race and such it is okay, but if it is ROAR or IFMAR or any other sancioning body race they will most likley spec your tank for capacity. They basically completly fill the fuel...
