The Thunderbolt will not hold a zenoah with a bonzi clutch.

RE: MHZ S6 or RCM drive questions????

And how many of these drives have you dealt with? I regularly build 65+" boats with these drives using my inline engines. They run 53-60mph and are used every weekend. No problems to really talk...

RE: MHZ S6 or RCM drive questions????

I've built several boats with my inline engine and the MHZ s6 drive without any problems. My inline will overpower the RCM drive and the MHZ Z drive, but the S6 seems to be up to the task. I've...

RE: Tuning mti cat.....help.....

I spoke with Alan in great length about your boat yesterday. The 257 is on the way and hoefully cure the problem.

RE: I need Know between QD or Mod. zenoah

You can try CC, Toxic Marine and a few others. I've had good luck with Toxic Marine.

RE: I need Know between QD or Mod. zenoah

The QD will be substantailly faster than the Hanson Zenoah. There are faster zenoahs on the market that would close the difference between the qd and the zenoah. If you are new enough to the hobby to...

RE: Water intake help

That pickip is going to be a very tight fit on most cats. What kind of cat do you have? The double pickup is better suited for a vhull. If it will fit on the ride pad of your boat, it is usually...

RE: Tuning mti cat.....help.....

I provide Expresscraft with thier exhaust systems. I'm also familiar with the toxic engine and mti hull. The pipe should be tuned between 11 7/8 and 12 1/4. The center of the prop shaft needs to be...

RE: Almost had a Zenoah for $0.99

If the guy made an honest mistake, why try to take advantage of it? We all know a .99 zen is not going to happen. As long as he gives you a refund, what's the problem? The next time you make a...

RE: Best zenoah counter rotating kit

MHZ, Bonzi and Sonic Racing. Your best bet will be Sonic.

RE: Your ultimate boat

As Matt said, either boat will hold the inline, but I would not recommend trying to put the inline in the 56" apache. I've done it before, but it takes some skill (and a shoe horn) to get it in...

RE: MHZ USA?

MHZ parts are of very high quality. MHZ service in the US is questionable. Try to find an alternative source for the parts.

RE: hanson dry pipe

As long as the pipe is in proper alignment, you should not get any water leaking in. If you are, it's probably time to get new orings. I have also been able to get a better seal by lubing the o-rings...

RE: inlines

I don't think he is offering it as a kit anymore. It is not identical to mine. The outside coupler is the same, but the crankshaft coupler is different.

RE: inlines

What ever happened to the WHH inline? I thought he was going to sell a RTR as well as a kit.

RE: My 50-ish inch scarab design...any ideas?

Call some of the manufacturers and tell them what you are doing. They might have a blem hull for you to hack up for a lot less $$ than a new hull. PM me if you need some help in locating one.

RE: New boat idea to toss around...

Yup, I also had the pleasure of having a conley v-8 too for a short time (just on a stand- not in a car). Yes, about 20hp sounds right....still not much power for the weight or displacement. Also,...

RE: My 50-ish inch scarab design...any ideas?

Yup, it would be a handfull in a 50" boat. It would not be a easy fit. A single would be plenty.

RE: New boat idea to toss around...

Just to give you an idea, that motor pictured is extremely weak compared to what is already out there. Power to weight and power to displacement is very poor.

RE: My 50-ish inch scarab design...any ideas?

Do you want to build it from scratch? I not, I'd suggest buying a pre fab hull in that size range and start cutting it up.

RE: New boat idea to toss around...

This will be a cool project. Are you going to add any strakes to the hull? I really like the idea of the steps to aerate the water. There are plenty of hulls in that size range. Problem you may...

RE: Where can I get them?

Todd,
I only include them on RTR's because they are so hard to get and I need to save my inventory for the RTR boats I produce. I am not a MHZ dealer and don't sell MHZ parts (unless it is...

RE: Shock Wave 55 Water pump.

The above diagram will not work for the stock blue proboat waterpump. The SS waterpump has 2 outlets. As far as your rudder providing 2 pickups, you have the option to Y them together.
