RE: Nother 27% CA 300L Build

If you guys are having problems with wing rock in the harriers with this airplane then you probably need more elevator. Mine was pushing 55 degrees of both up and down elevator and was...

RE: 33% Extra 330L CG

The manual says 1/2-3/4" in front of the wing tube. But I would start off at 1" in front of the wing tube. If I remember correct, I am flying it at 3/4" in front. That is in front of the leading of...

RE: CA Models 27% Extra 300L

IowaSilva:

You will love the plane. I flew mine for 2 seasons until my receiver crystal jiggled out in flight. That was fun. Mine weighed 14.5 with an old brisson 3.2. I did hand select as...

RE: Yak54 Digital Sevos

2.5" Arms?!?! WHY????

You are just asking for flutter. You should never need over 1.5" arms if you have the correct set up. Please post a picture of the setup. I can get almost 75 degrees...

RE: 27% edge 540 engine options

The airplane is either a 25% 540 (about 70"-75" wing) or a 29% 540 (about 84" wing). If it is the 29% the DA would be awesome! However, the 25% was designed for large glow engines or the newwer...

RE: Aero-Works 50cc Yak

Hey guys,

Was just reading about Ernsbarger's problem with the climbing. You should never have down thrust in a aerobatic airplane. If anything, it should have .5 to 1 degree of up thrust. If...

RE: Rx bat. amps needed for 1/4 scale.

I got to agree with rcblimppro. I said exactly what I was thinking. I run 2700 6V nimh on my 100cc and never have to worry about anything.

RE: balancing problem

That is one I have never heard before Silversurfer. But in the case of this plane you would break all the fuse stringers by doing this also. The way that I have always done it is what RNick said. ...

RE: Building the 260

You are sort of correct. Walter never produced one, however, a guy bought a stock 300 then spent big bucks to put on counter balances, lighten the plane, put in a bigger motor up front and other...
