same thing just happend to my rear diff in my ss with about the same amount of fuel thru it! however on mine one of the ball bearings wore out and it looks like it wore out the plastic on the diff...

well you could go to a 18 tooth bell that would help a bit. i have a ss4.6 too but i only have the listing for 49 and 52 spur gear set ups so il give you that as a guide. 49 will work with 15 thru 18...

sav 4.6 kit,tough,fast,and doesnt need any hop ups to bash!!+you can put a decent radio/servoes on it to begin with! in the long run that would be cheaper anyways.

depends how you take care of an engine.i.e aro,air filters clean, set pistons to dbc while cooling,quality fuels. just like when new. on average id say about 3-4 gallons per pinch, and most sleeves...

ive been doing this myself for a few years and it does work great!! however the way i do it is i put the piston a little more than half way down the sleeve so that the hoseclamp lines up a mid point...
