RE: WTH??..........DDM?????????

We have a very small staff, and focus almost exclusively on processing online orders in a timely and efficient manner. We don't have any retail space at our warehouse location.

RE: KRD/SKOPOD 62cc Motor on HPI Baja

True, the G62 is a monster - a bit of overkill, maybe, for the size of the vehicle. You can get a plenty of power out of the smaller powerplants, particularly those using the 36mm bore cylinders.

RE: KRD/SKOPOD 62cc Motor on HPI Baja

The G62 is an excellent platform for both reliability and power. Also, given the right modifications, you might be surprised at the RPMs a G62 will turn. Will it outrev a G230RC? No. But with a TS...

RE: 60cc Motor in Baja Bug Video

Sorry, way too much work for minimal benefit - the SKOPOD kit from TGN is what you need.

RE: 60cc Motor in Baja Bug Video

? G62 cylinders can be found at many, many locations on the web, including major players like Horizon Hobby.

RE: New fast airframe in the works

For maximum RPM from a G62, good porting and a good exhaust is needed. I'd strongly suggest you contact Doug Johns at Earth Surfer Products (ESP), who is our trusted outside partner for our...

RE: GP290 vs. G260

A stroked motor can still see a top end RPM gain if other modifications are done. However, as you know, ALL ELSE EQUAL, a motor with a longer stroke (for example, one using the 30mm stroke crank aka...

RE: GP290 vs. G260

Within the week, DDM will have ESP ported heads (not complete engines) in stock! It's been a long time coming, but these will be simply awesome. Stay tuned.

RE: fg baja 4wd rtr

We haven't had any complaints from customers as to the radio gear. Surprisingly, though, these full FG RTR kits have sold REALLY, REALLY slowly - we've been gradually bleeding down our inventory via...

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

Unfortunately Dennis, your analysis here is simply off base. The standard for evaluating trademark / trade dress infringement is not "are the products (or trademarks) the same?"; rather, the...

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

It's not a slippery slope at all. It's a well-established area of law, codified by numerous international treaties.

As I have posted before, the pipe is protected by principles of trademark and...

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

Yes, it is a "word mark". That means that the mark claims rights in all versions of the word DOMINATOR, without regard to font, color, logo, and so forth. This is the broadest possible type of...

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

What you believe, and what the facts and the law are, are very different things.

DDM's trademark for DOMINATOR was applied for at the USPTO on July 23, 2008, and granted as registered U.S....

The item is not patented. It is, however, as I have posted before, protected by trademark and trade dress claims.

Based on your second sentence, you clearly don't know what on earth you are...

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

Again, you might want to educate yourself regarding U.S. laws with respect to trademarks and trade dress before you make incorrect assertions.

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

You might want to check out United States Code, Title 15, Sections 1114 and/or 1125.

Good luck.

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

I don't have any idea what the materials for the clone cost. We don't make or sell them. But having seen the clones in person, they are very poorly made.

If you'd like to learn about...

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

The clones are made in china with inferior materials (thinner, cheaper pipe walls), inferior welding (and extra welding to compensate for their use of stock tubing rather than custom stamped...

RE: DDM pipe vs clone pipe...

Yep, it's simple. The clone has a double weld on the neck, because they just use preformed tube sections of different sizes and weld em together. It's a half-*** job that performs poorly.

The...

RE: Baja 2 speed all most ready

There's no doubt, that is a beautiful, beautiful engine, and among the top powerplants available anywhere.

But it's not making 9 HP :)
