I future-proofed two computer builds 4 and 5 years ago. I started with G3 on the faster of the two. I am still using the faster of the two, with just a video card update, and it is still running G5...

Use 2100 ma. lipos secured upright.

High rates with max throws good for low altitude 3D or high altitude mayhem. Using high rates at high speed/low altitude just asking for trouble.

I got my 'phoon2 together, and I am nothing but extremely disappointed in it. The elevator slot/support skews the elevator on one side nearly a half-inch lower than the other side. Pathetic...

The plane does have a wide envelope, but does suffer from typical foam airframe problems. The knifeedge coupling is atrocious, the wings loosen very quickly, as foam does compress, and the wing tab...

This is a quote direct from Horizon's website. They have indeed upgraded the crummy servos that were a pathetic after thought on the original Typhoon 3D. Keywords being "digital" and "metal gear"....

I'm running a Hacker A30-12XL with 4S 2500 mah. FP Evo. Ballistic with a 14X7 APCe prop. Doesn't run out of vertical.
