RE: Realflight G5Coming Soon

Blather; ad nauseum, ad infinitum.

Transparent rhetoric.

Obsessive minutiae.

So little said above, so much real estate covered.

You and your alter egos know whom you...

RE: Realflight G5Coming Soon

G5 works for me. Come to think of it, all versions have worked for me since G3. All the negative comments, or wondering personal affiliations, doesn't change that fact. The great majority of...

RE: Realflight G5Coming Soon

5 machines. 1 netbook, 1 notebook, 3 desktops, 2 Intel processors and 3 AMD processors. 3 video cards and 2 integrated video processors.

G5 runs on all of them.

I thought a success story...

RE: Realflight G5Coming Soon

rc_sportpilot, I feel your pain. I got the new G3 and the interlink was broken on arrival. Fixed it myself so I wouldn't be without it for weeks. That was quite some time ago!

I don't know if...

RE: Realflight G5Coming Soon

I future-proofed two computer builds 4 and 5 years ago. I started with G3 on the faster of the two. I am still using the faster of the two, with just a video card update, and it is still running G5...

RE: Realflight G5Coming Soon

Oh my! So much text, so little resolution! I teetered when an earlier comment lamented the passing of training aids, to allow new combat features.

I suppose it would be just near impossible to...

RE: *Parkzone Typhoon 2 -Official Thread!*

I use a 15 foot, fused #8 extension with alligator leads at the battery end, and banana plugs at the distribution station end. I may charge up to 8 batteries at once, I have charged 6 at once, with...

RE: Typhoon 2 by ParkZone

Been flying over 20 years. Fly a Fliton AJ 330S, 1/4 scale 1.60 powered Extra 300, 1.20 and larger Stingers, .46 powered profiles, electric jets, foamies, gassers of all sizes, electrics of all...

RE: Typhoon 2 by ParkZone

Use 2100 ma. lipos secured upright.

High rates with max throws good for low altitude 3D or high altitude mayhem. Using high rates at high speed/low altitude just asking for trouble.

I fly...

RE: Typhoon 2 by ParkZone

The 'phoon2 is my 3rd 'phoon, and it will be my last. Inexcusable quality control. Link below, post #85. I only bought the PNP versions after my first 'phoon had radio trouble, which Horizon...

RE: *Parkzone Typhoon 2 -Official Thread!*

I got my 'phoon2 together, and I am nothing but extremely disappointed in it. The elevator slot/support skews the elevator on one side nearly a half-inch lower than the other side. Pathetic...

RE: ParkZone Typhoon 2 3D

The plane does have a wide envelope, but does suffer from typical foam airframe problems. The knifeedge coupling is atrocious, the wings loosen very quickly, as foam does compress, and the wing tab...

RE: *Parkzone Typhoon 2 -Official Thread!*

I'm going to win the AirFoilz Bipe contest! Why buy?:D

The PNP ParkZone Typhoon2 is only 159.00. 100 bucks cheaper. Those radios included with the typhoon RTF, are not good. I had trouble...

RE: *Parkzone Typhoon 2 -Official Thread!*

Just ordered one of these from HobbyZone (PNP), with free shipping. I just fixed my "older" Typhoon (broken nose repair) for the last time. It is getting WAY too nose heavy from all the repairs. ...

RE: ParkZone Typhoon 2 3D

This is a quote direct from Horizon's website. They have indeed upgraded the crummy servos that were a pathetic after thought on the original Typhoon 3D. Keywords being "digital" and "metal gear"....

RE: Fliton AJ Extra

Mikey:

Are you running 4S? What motor?

I'm running a Hacker A30-12XL with 4S 2500 mah. FP Evo. Ballistic with a 14X7 APCe prop. Doesn't run out of vertical.

RE: Fliton AJ Extra

Just got done with my 2nd AJ, Bones. I'll do most of my aerobatics at half-throttle (at least the ones that rip wings off planes).

My 81MGs really love the 6 volt BEC. I've never had a plane...

RE: Fliton AJ Extra

Look and see in the neutral position, your elevator halves are perfectly aligned. If they are, something is binding, whether it's hinges, dowel, alignment, covering, etc. Measure from a flat...

RE: Which ±45"-3D-Electric Aircraft choose? [Update: 2007-04-15]

Nice thing about the AJ; it flies like a 30-40 percent bird. I kid you not. It flies as good as my large scale extra 300. All bets are off in the wind, but keep the AJ close-in, and it presents,...

RE: Which ±45"-3D-Electric Aircraft choose? [Update: 2007-04-15]

With the 2500 4S Evo(s) 6 minutes, tops. I fly hard. Sometimes, I fly 5 minutes after lots of full-throttle stuff.
