I think it would be great, I flew mine with an RCGF 45 at 3Lbs. and 10 Oz. and the plane still needed a tiny bit of extra nose weight. If it fits in the cowl I'd go for it..... RJ

AJ, I don't think it will be a problem. I am running a whole slew of Hitec servos that are spec'd for 4.8 and 6.0 volts on A123 batteries which run a little over 7 volts off the charger. No problems...
