Turn in the idle screw? Do you mean the idle needle adjustment, or the sliding mechanism of the carburetor itself? If you mean needle adjustment, do I make it richer or leaner?

Are there any needle settings that would keep the engine at idle even if the carburetor is completely closed? I installed a Novarossi engine in my RS4 and the carburetor closes completely every time...

I have those spacers also. I find them alot more accurate than cutting fuel tubing. They also come in various thickness.

The yellow air filter reminds me of the Hobbycraft Predator. The Predator is an onroad car though. Did you get the truck from Canada? It might be Hobbycraft if it's from Canada.

I'm still waiting for the front Clawz before I can run my truck. The limiters lowered the truck (arms flat with chassis) though.
