RE: OFFICIAL NITRO TOURING CAR GALLERY

RE: OFFICIAL NITRO TOURING CAR GALLERY

RE: Needle settings

Thanks! One more question..So I have a Megatech M16 engine. I replaced the stock carburetor with a slide carburetor from an OFNA Force .15. Unfortunately, the stock needle settings are unknown,...

RE: Needle settings

Thanks everyone! Just a question for curiosity, how does the idle needle work in rotary carburetor engines?

RE: Needle settings

To open the gap, do you usually turn the needle clockwise or counter-clockwise?

RE: Needle settings

Turn in the idle screw? Do you mean the idle needle adjustment, or the sliding mechanism of the carburetor itself? If you mean needle adjustment, do I make it richer or leaner?

Needle settings

Are there any needle settings that would keep the engine at idle even if the carburetor is completely closed? I installed a Novarossi engine in my RS4 and the carburetor closes completely every time...

RE: Lowering my Jato 3.3!!

I have those spacers also. I find them alot more accurate than cutting fuel tubing. They also come in various thickness.

RE: Lowering my Jato 3.3!!

It was mentioned in a thread I started before. Here's a picture that nickrummy made on AutoCAD.

RE: Lowering my Jato 3.3!!

I have tried putting fuel tubing in my shocks. It works really well, and a cheap solution to just buying a whole new set of shocks. Of course, you can just buy another set of stock shocks and put...

RE: Rustler flipping

Thanks for the AutoCAD diagram! I already did that though. If I knew about the zip tie trick earlier, I would have tested it first. The front end of my truck isn't as low as I wanted, but it's only...

RE: My girlfriend's first attempt at painting a body

Just because both have green flames and black backing doesn't make it the same. Look closely at both and you'll notice that one of them has flames going down to the bumper and the other starts at...

RE: Rustler flipping

Some people are ignorant...all the "crap" I've done to my truck actually helped it not to flip. And no, it's not a bump in the middle of the road...it's like an upside-down parabola, or shall we say...

RE: Rustler flipping

LOL...Sometimes, there are different road conditions. My road is a bit "rounded" higher in the middle of the road than the sides where it meets with the curb. I'm not sure if that has anything to...

RE: What make & model is my new car

The yellow air filter reminds me of the Hobbycraft Predator. The Predator is an onroad car though. Did you get the truck from Canada? It might be Hobbycraft if it's from Canada.

RE: Rustler flipping

I'm still waiting for the front Clawz before I can run my truck. The limiters lowered the truck (arms flat with chassis) though.

RE: Rustler flipping

I already lowered my truck. Also, I can't find any sway bars for the Rustler. Does anyone know where to get any? I bought some Road Rages and Clawz for my truck, hoping that the Road Rages will...
