I had a problem with elevator flutter because the elevator joiner rod was not glued. I think there is a tech notice on it.
when you get your new one, be sure to check that joiner.

My ST 51 probably isn't the strongest engine around and it flew the Escapade well. You should be fine with your 46LA.

I had a ST 51 in mine and it flew plenty fast. A strong .40 would be enough for this plane.
