RE: Hamilton, Ohio IMAC... Come on Down!!!

Well, my Mom is home from the hospital, and she's (mind you, just a little) more important than flying contests. Not to mention that Gerhard has my engine! Oh, well. Good luck, all - especially on...

RE: New DA 150 cylinder head turns pink

I'm sorry I haven't been on RCU recently. I just saw this forum, and decided to answer to T. Bob and say that the "pink and cool in the center DA" was just about ready to be devoured by the 3W...

RE: 1800 in/oz Servo

Yeah... very typical- especially with 30% and up airplanes. I recommend using servos with big gears (preferably metal, unless plastic gears are huge), and high torque especially for rudder.

RE: H9 Extra 330S VS H9 Edge 540 100cc class

The Extra will fly better if you use glue sparingly, but I would suggest a Troy Built Models (now Roman Built Models) 35% Extra 260... with a 3W-100 (or DA-100) it weighs 22+- 1 lbs.

RE: Balance question

Keep it a little tailheavy; 4.5" from the leading edge should give great tracking for IMAC. You shouldn't have to add much elevator on 45 lines at all. Set up the CG, so inverted +~ upright, and it...

RE: Hangar 9 Extra.. Sooo are you Happy?

LISTEN TO RYAN!!!

Try a C-ARF 2.6m Extra 330, Yak55SP or Carden 35% Extra 330. If you want a 50cc plane, try the C-ARF 2x2 Extra

Do NOT get any Sukhoi. An Extra, or Edge would be fine....
