the reason fore the question was that when somebody ask for what prop to run on a plane it semes that someone always rekomend cut the prop down to get more static rpm.. and i mean that if the plane...

if you took 2 identical speed planes (delta or conventional) and a lets say 50 something engine and one running a 10 x 7 prop and the other a 11 x 7 which one will be faster ? you will properly say...

i do understand the problem ... i just dont understand that it is inpossible to get a prop that works!!
(what is the problem with the apc prop they rate it at 19000 rpm fore a 10 inch so 25000 is...

i have not been able to find a sutiable prop anywhere so is it possible to take a larger prop and cut it down i diametre to get a stronger prop or is it a waste of time .... what are you other guys...

yes mini pipe from weston uk .. works wonderfull 20000+ rpm on a 10x7 apc at with out to mutch noise.. where can i get these carbon props please help ... and it is going to get a nosejob i just want...

what prop should i use i have not seen any thing other then apc and have been flying that prop a lot whit out problems... i knov its not ideal so any help is welcome.. still hopeing fore 300 ;)

u better belive it ... and it turns 18000 with standard pipe ! what so strange ! look in the OS specifikations... 1.8 ps @ 17000

try it !!! put a small prop on and it skreeeeems..

my 50 sx turns 8x8 apc 21000 rpm could something be wrong with your 50 sx ? 15500 ? it makes its power at 18000 rpm with standard pipe..

sory if i hurt someone feelings.. about the 50sx+ tuned pipe .. makes the same power as the weston engine ! i hawe both in the stable..[sm=thumbup.gif]

i ran a os 50 sx with tuned pipe .. i have a home buildt flying ving that is faster and it cost me les than 50 buks too make and it will fly with the engine off.. i dit not want too ofend any but...

what so great about the magnum ? i never had at worse flying speedplane and its not that fast at all... to f...ing heavy! but its pretty... looks nice hanging on the wall..

the biggest prop i can hang on my new fun flyer is 18" i also have a 21" prop cut down to 18" that have a much wider blade will this give me more trust ? rpm is about 8000.

just finiched my speed flying wing and tested it the other day... it is a blast to fly and will do manuvers that a "normal" plane will not do belive me..! it is built off white foam and paper...

i buildt a flying wing with a os 15 la engine span 800 mm cord 250 mm profile mh46 reflexed airfoil.. wigth 600 gram emty

it is very stable too fly ( and fast) at first it hat a tendensy too...
